Former Congress President Anil Sharma resigns from the party

Patna, March 31 (UNI) Former President of Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee ( BPCC) Anil Sharma resigned from the primary membership of the party on Sunday.
Sharma told news persons here that he has already sent his resignation to the national President of the party Mallikarjun Kharge. He said it seems that the Congress in Bihar has made a permanent adjustment with Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) till the lifetime of Sonia-Lalu and Rahul-Tejaswi. Instead of treating Congress like an alliance partner RJD treats it like a beggar and a parasite, he alleged saying that Congress has now no future in Bihar.
Party workers were frustrated with the seat adjustment under which Congress got the seats where its victory was difficult and the winnable seats were snatched from it. He alleged that it appears Lalu Prasad Yadav under a well-hatched strategy left weaker seats for Congress so that it should remain sidelined and marginalised in Bihar.
