Bengal: TMC alleges IT Officials searched party GS Abhishek Banerjee's chopper

Kolkata, Apr 14 (UNI) West Bengal ruling Trinamool Congress on Sunday alleged that a group of Income Tax officials raided and searched the chopper of the Party General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee'during its trial run from Behala Flying Club in the city, a day before his visit to Haldia.
In a statement, the TMC said the IT personnel "restrained Banerjee's security personnel, opened each and every bag, searched every nook and corner of the chopper," and " When the Income Tax officials couldn't find anything, a frustrated team of Mr Modi's men didn't let the chopper fly for the longest time."
When Banerjee's security personnel asked the reason, they (IT officials) got into (a) verbal spat and threatened to detain thechopper illegally, the ruling party claimed.
