Women from Sandeshkhali travelling to Barasat to attend PM Modi's address

Kolkata, Mar 6 (UNI) After unveiling and laying the foundation for various Metro Railways projects on Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi flew in a helicopter from Howrah to Barasat, North 24 Parganas, to address a BJP-organised 'Nari Bandhan' women empowerment rally.
Modi is expected to reach the venue via helicopter from Howrah Maiden, landing at Dum Dum airport for a roadshow before addressing the rally in Barasat.
The BJP has arranged buses for the women of Sandeshkhali (who were allegedly harassed by suspended TMC leader Shajahan Sheikh) to the rally in West Bengal's Barasat.
