Modi Govt. never assesses Arunachal from a political viewpoint: Khandu

Itanagar, Mar 11 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Monday said that the BJP-led central government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi never looks at Arunachal Pradesh from a political point of view.
Speaking during a development meeting at Ziro in Lower Subansiri district, Khandu quoted from Modi’s March 9 speech at the Itanagar function ‘Viksit Bharat Viksit North East Program’ wherein the Prime Minister mentioned that the government’s outlook towards North Eastern states is never based on the party’s strength in parliament.
“We contribute only two MPs to the Lok Sabha and only one to Rajya Sabha but this number factor has been overlooked by Modi and since day one, he has been supporting the state in its accelerated development on all fronts,” Khandu said.
