PM Modi slams TMC government  for obstructing  various central government schemes in Bengal

Siliguri, March 9 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday came down heavily on the TMC government for preventing the implementation of various central schemes launched for the benefit of the poor and allegedly siphoning off the funds meant for the poor people of West Bengal.
Addressing a public meeting at Siliguri, the Prime Minister also lashed out at the Congress and the left for depriving the people of north Bengal of the development.
He said they never worked for the development of the people and were busy looting the poor and referred to the plight of the women of Sandeshkhali in North 24 Parganas.
"The TMC government doles out money to people chosen by 'tolabaz' .It does not hurt TMC when you are struggling or suffering, Modi said .While the countrymen were discussing what the TMC leaders did to the Dalit and Adivasi women of Sandeshkhali.
The PM said while the countrymen were aghast to hear the plight of the women and land grabbing of the poor tribal people in Sandeshkhali the party in power was protecting the perpetrators of the crime..
Modi said many central government schemes like Ayushman Bharat, Ujawala, meant for the poor people were not implemented in West Bengal and funds for 100 days work under MGNREG were siphoned off .
He pointed out that some 25 lakh fake job cards were issued in the state the funds for MGNREGA were taken away by the ruling party men in the state.
This was Modi's 4th rally in since March 2. Earlier he had addressed at Arambagh in Hooghly, Krishnagar in Nadia and Barasat in North 24 Parganas.
The Prime Minister urged the people to vote for the BJP and ensured BJP won over 400 seats in the ensuing Lok Sabha election.
He said the people have been quite sympathetic to the BJP and voting its party candidates in all the polls,
Modi said the BJP was very sensitive about the people of Gorkha, Rajbanshi, Adivasi and also the people in the tea belt.
However, the Left, TMC and Congress always played divisive roles for their vested interests.
In the rally at Kawakhali in Darjeeling district Modi accused the TMC of corruption. He alleged that the TMC was systematically exploiting people at every turn of events and plundered the resources.
The Prime Minister also lashed out at the INDIA Bloc saying the Congress and TMC were putting brakes on the NDA's development works and the Left was supporting them for survival.
While the Congress was engaged in Parivar tantra, the TMC was on to save its nephew and the Left was making noise for its survival.
Modi said the BJP was stressing on development like electricity, bank accounts, tap water to make lives better for "our mothers and sisters'.
He said "Every visit to this place offers me a glimpse of a mini India. The diversity and vibrancy present here are seldom found in other parts of the country."
Earlier in an official programme, Modi inaugurated and laid foundation stones for various projects relating to rail, roads, electrification projects in the rural northern districts worth over Rs 4500 crores under the Viksit Bharat Viksit West Bengal.
