PM slams TMC govt, claims Sandeshkhali incident will uproot the regime in West Bengal

Barasat, Mar 6 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday slammed the Mamata Banerjee-led TMC government in West Bengal over the Sandeshkhali incident and accused it of shielding the perpetrators of the women who alleged of sexual assault by suspended TMC leader Sheikh Shahjahan and his aides.
Modi urged the people to defeat the INDIA alliance in the Lok Sabha election as they were putting brakes on the BJP's Viksit Bharat projects.
Addressing a massive rally of Nari Shakti Sanman in North 24 Parganas, he pointed out that 'whatever atrocities happened to the the women at Sandeshkhali were a matter of shame.'
"The TMC government is not worried about the perpetrators of Sandeshkhali, but it is engaged in shielding the offenders.'
The Prime Minister alleged that the state government, instead of protecting the mothers and sisters, was rather busy protecting the mafia extortionists and criminals.
"I find the TMC is not depending on the support of mothers and sisters, but it largely depends on the mafia raaj to unleash the terror.
Modi said Sandeshkhali incident will finally uproot the TMC from Bengal, as the women's power was emerging strong over the male-dominated society.'
"Atrocities against women are being committed on this land (Bengali) under TMC's rule,' he said.
The PM also said 'INDIA Alliance leaders were tensed sensing the return of the NDA government in the 2024 Lok Sabha poll.
"After sensing the NDA is forming its government at the Centre, the INDIA Bloc Alliance started abuses on me and about my parivar," Modi said.
He said that since he was attacking the dynasties, now the INDIA Alliance is propagating that the PM has no
family. "They are asking about my family. They're saying I talk against 'Parivarvad' because I don't have any family. These people want to know about my family. I want these 'Parivarvadis' to witness the gathering and understand that all the people present here are my family..."
"I have 140 crore people of country are my family, and they are looking after me," Modi said.
'Narrating his childhood days when he roamed around the country penniless, he said after walking away from home, I was fed by the poor family's mothers and sisters, and not a day I remained hungry,' the PM said.
Modi said, "This huge rally of women is proof of how the BJP is making 'Naari Shakti' is the power of 'Viksit Bharat'.
On January 9, BJP started the 'Shakti Vandan' campaign across the country. During this, interactions with lakhs of self-help groups were done across the country, and today, in West Bengal, there is a huge program organized.

He said before coming to Barasat, he inaugurated. laid foundation stones of many rail development projects with new routes connected to Kolkata Metro, Pune Metro, Kochi Metro, Agra Metro, and Namo Bharat trains have beenexpanded together.
Before 2014, only a 28-kilometer route of the Kolkata Metro was built, and in the last 10 years, a 31-kilometer route of the Kolkata Metro has been added.
"Modernizing the country's public transport is a priority of the government, the PM said.
