Tripura: Two men sentenced to life imprisonment for killing their wives

Agartala, Feb 28 (UNI) Two Tripura residents were sentenced to life imprisonment for two separate cases of their wives' murder in North Tripura and Khowai districts.
In the first case, the North Tripura District Sessions Court sentenced a man to life imprisonment for murdering his wife following domestic violence in 2018.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 on the convict and ordered him to serve an additional five years in jail if he fails to pay the fine.
