Sudden surge in COVID-19 cases in Meghalaya

Shillong, Nov 24 (UNI) A sudden surge in the number of daily COVID-19 count in Meghalaya with 71 new cases reported on Wednesday shot the number of active cases up to 356, while 12 more cases
of recovery from the viral infection surged the number of recovered cases to 82,541, health officials said.
The state has so far registered 84364 confirmed COVID-19 cases, which includes 1467 cases of fatality, according to official report.
