Project Axshya Plus, a new initiative to combat TB prevention

Kolkata, Mar 22 (UNI) Project Axshya Plus, a collaborative initiative between GLRA-India and The Union, has reached a significant milestone with the successful conclusion of its efforts recently as the project aimed to provide TB preventive treatment to household contacts of diagnosed pulmonary
TB patients across 38 districts in India with a particular focus on 11 districts in West Bengal.
Throughout the project phase, the dedicated team was able to provide TB preventive therapy to over 200,000 household contacts, marking significant progress toward the targeted goal of 400,000. This accomplishment underscores the commitment and hard work of the entire team involved.
