Corona tally reaches 77,709 in Jharkhand with 1,261 fresh cases, recovery rate at 83.02 pc

Ranchi, Sep 25 (UNI) With a total of 1,261 fresh cases of Coronavirus being detected across the state on Friday, the overall tally of Covid-19 cases in Jharkhand has reached 77,709.
During the day, 6 deaths were reported including 2 each from East Singhbhum and West Singhbhum districts and 1 each from Dhanbad and Godda districts after which the overall death count has increased to 661 in the state. The mortality rate among the patients currently stands at 0.84 percent.
As per the information provided by the health department the number of active cases in the state was 12,533 while number of cured and discharged cases stood at 64,515. The total number of death caused by Coronavirus in the state stood at 661.
