1,027 cases of Coronavirus found in Jharkhand on Wednesday as tally reaches to 44,862

Ranchi, Sep 2 (UNI) On Wednesday a total of 1,027 cases of Coronavirus was detected across the state after which the overall tally of Covid-19 patients in Jharkhand has reached to 44,862.
During the day 10 deaths were also reported including 7 from East Singhbhum and 1 each from Bokaro, Chatra and Koderma after which the overall death count has gone upto 438 in the state. The increase in fatalities has increased the mortality rate to 0.97 percent.
As per the information provided by the health department the number of active cases in the state was 14,677 while number of cured and discharged cases stood at 29,747. The total number of death caused by Coronavirus in the state stood at 438.
