Itanagar, Sep 29 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh, in the past 24 hours, recorded its sharpest single-day spike of 329 Covid-19 cases, taking the state’s caseload to 9,332, while the fatalities toll rose to 15 following death of a 55-year-old officer serving as DFO.
On the other hand, 97 Covid-19 patients were discharged, taking the total recoveries in the state to 6,592. The recovery rate is 70.63 percent.
Out of the fresh cases of infection, Itanagar Capital Complex (ICC) reported the highest at 117, followed by Papum Pare 86, West Siang 24, Lower Siang 21 and Lohit 13, as per the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services (DHS).
Twelve each cases were reported from East Siang and Upper Subansiri, nine from West Kameng, eight from Changlang, seven from Kurung Kumey, five from Tirap, four each from Lower Dibang Valley and Namsai, two each from Pakke Kessang, Lower Subansiri and East Kameng, and one from Anjaw, it said.
Of 117 cases from ICC, 39 reported from Flu clinic,TRIHMS, Naharlagun (other than flu clinic-five), 22 from paid quarantine testing centre and 18 from flu clinic, RKM Hospital here, 16 from testing centre SQF, Lekhi,12 from Bnaderdewa check gate,five from testing centre CCC-SOA,Zoo area and four from Flu clinic, Heema Hospital here and one from helipad, Naharlagun.
Seventy among the 86 cases from Papum Pare were reported from Flu clinic, CHC-Kimin while seven from Gumto check gate,four from Hollongi check gate, two from testing centre Duda, Yupia and three are ITBP personnel.
