Arunachal: Governor's citation presented to 6 Assam Rifles

Itanagar, Mar 22 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt General (Retd) KT Parnaik presented the Governor’s Citation to the 6th Battalion of the Assam Rifles in a brief ceremony held at the Vivekananda Hall of Raj Bhavan here on Friday.
The Governor cited the Battalion for their alert operational duty and good work in extending ‘valuable’ help and assistance to the civil administration and the local population, a communiqué from the Raj Bhavan said.
Assam Rifles Commanding Officer, Colonel Aman Ahluwalia, along with Subedar Major Ramesh Ram and Rifleman N Suresh Singh received the citation on behalf of the 6 Assam Rifles.
