Meghalaya Health Minister files nomination from Shillong Lok Sabha seat

Shillong, Mar 22 (UNI) Meghalaya Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Mazel Ampareen Lyngdoh was the first in the state to file nomination papers for the coming Lok Sabha elections as she submitted her nomination papers as National People's Party (NPP) candidate for the Shillong parliamentary seat before the Returning Officer at Shillong, Sibhi Chakravarty Sadhu.
Lyngdoh was accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Sniawbhalang Dhar at the time of filing her nomination.
The ruling NPP has fielded Lyngdoh from the Shillong Lok Sabha and Agatha Sangma from Tura parliamentary seat.
