Manipur Chief Minister violates MCC alleges Congress

Imphal April 2 (UNI) The Congress party has filed a complaint to the Chief Electoral Officer Manipur alleging violation of the Election Model Code of Conduct by Chief Minister N Biren Singh.
Vice-Chairman Legal Department Advocate Rabi Khan, told a press conference here on Tuesday, that a formal complaint was lodged on Monday to the CEO. He said the Congress party wants a free and fair election and it is totally against the use of muscle and money power.
He further alleged that from March 27 to 31 many persons, mostly women, visited the official bungalow of the Chief Minister, N. Biren Singh. It caused a traffic jam and many people uploaded videos of the gathering in front of the gate of the Chief Minister's office and entered into his office on social media platforms.
