Tejaswi pulls up Modi for not giving special status to Bihar

Tejaswi pulls up Modi for not giving special status to Bihar

Gaya, Apr 8 (UNI) Leader of the opposition in Assembly Tejaswi Prasad Yadav on Monday pulled up Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not giving special status to Bihar.
Yadav while addressing a public meeting here said that Prime Minister Modi had promised to give special status to Bihar during his campaign in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections but forgot his promise after being voted to power. His promise for a special package to Bihar also remained unfulfilled so far, he pointed out.
The leader of the opposition said that the NDA government remained in power both at the Centre and in Bihar for nearly ten years but nothing was done for the people of the state. Youths of Bihar were forced to migrate to other states in search of their livelihood, he added.
Yadav said that when his party RJD was a coalition partner during the Grand Alliance government for nearly 17 months, 4 lakhs of government jobs were given to youths. He was making all efforts to provide jobs to youths but the BJP was trying to ensure the fall of the Grand Alliance government, he alleged.
Leader of the opposition said that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had vowed not to join hands with BJP but now he was running government with the same party. No one was now believing the words of Chief Minister Kumar, he remarked.
