PM cautions people of Bihar not to fall into trap of Yuvraj of Jungle raj

Motihari/Bagaha, Nov 01 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi today cautioned the people of Bihar not to fall into trap of Yuvraj of Jungle raj, saying Nitish led NDA government had made strenuous efforts to pull Bihar from the misrule of lantern era that had ruined state in all sectors for 15 years since 1990, a reference to RJD regime.
Mr Modi, while addressing public meetings in favour of NDA candidates for Bihar Assembly Elections, in Motihari and Bagaha, said that Nitish led NDA government had worked hard to pull out Bihar from the misrule of lantern age and an attempt was being made again to trap the people to take the state into dark era again by the same forces, a reference to RJD. People should remain alert from such forces and extend their support to NDA which had worked hard to accelerate the pace of development, he added.
Mr Modi said that kidnapping, corruption and other crimes were at its peak during Jungle raj that had existed in Bihar for 15 years since 1990. People used to slightly damage their new cars after purchasing from showroom so that its look could become like old ones. They used to do so to avoid snatching of cars by criminals who had free hands due to patronage of the regime, he added.
Prime Minister said that even buildings were not repaired and maintained on its front portion. Fear was so much that there was an impression among building honours that criminals would demand greater extraction amount from them if they felt they had enough money, he added.
Mr Modi said that people had the bitter experience of Jungle raj and they would not like its return of the same era. Yuvraj of Jungle raj could do nothing for the betterment of Bihar as he had seen only taking care of family members during that regime, having no concern for the common man, he added making an oblique reference to RJD leader Tejasvi Prasad Yadav whose parents Lalu Prasad and Rabri Devi were Chief Ministers of Bihar for 15 years since 1990.
