Congress making attempt for another division of the country : Shah

Gaya (Bihar), Apr 10 (UNI) Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday accused Congress of making attempt for another division of the country but Narendra Modi government would not allow it to happen.
Shah, while addressing a public meeting in Guraru assembly segment of Aurangabad Lok Sabha constituency, in support of NDA candidates Sushil Singh and Jeetan Ram Manjhi, both contesting from Aurangabad and Gaya Lok Sabha seat respectively, in the Parliament election said that Congress MP had recently advocated for division of North and South India. It was most distressing and shameful to note that Congress did not any take action against its MP, he remarked.
"Congress has promised to bring back Muslim Personal Law in its manifesto which means that the party supports triple talaq ", the Union Home Minister, also a senior BJP leader said adding that Congress had also strongly opposed when Narendra Modi government brought a bill to scrap article 370 in parliament, relating to Jammu and Kashmir on August 5 2019.
Both Congress and RJD were strongly opposing any move to scrap article 370, he pointed out and asked the people whether it should have been scrapped or not, receiving thunderous yes from them who were present in large number in the meeting.
Shah said that PFI was an organisation working against unity and integrity of the nation since long and it should have been banned much earlier but Congress did not take any step in this direction. It was Narendra Modi government which had taken the decision to impose ban on this terror outfit , he asserted.
The Minister said that Congress and RJD had engineered 45 scams leading to bunglings of Rs 12 lakhs crores. On the other hand, Narendra Modi was holding the post of Chief Minister and later Prime Minister for the last 23 years but he was not facing any corruption charges even of 25 paise, he added.
Shah said that menace of naxalism had had almost come to an end due to sustained efforts of Narendra Modi government.
If Prime Minister Narendra Modi was given another opportunity to serve the nation, the country was bound to become third biggest economy of the world, he claimed.
