Bengal 7-phase poll: Govt extends summer vacation in schools & colleges

Kolkata, Apr 2 (UNI) The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has extended summer vacation for primary, secondary, and higher secondary schools across West Bengal following the seven-phase general election in the state, according to official sources here on Tuesday.

In the first polling on April 19, the educational institutions will be closed between April 16 and 20 in the three contiguous districts of Cooch Behar, Alipurduar, and Jalpaiguri, where the voting is scheduled for the first phase on April 19.
