Arunachal: Prohibitory order imposed in Namsai Assembly constituency

Itanagar, Apr 11 (UNI) Ahead of the general elections to the 18th Lok Sabha and 11th Legislative Assembly of Arunachal Pradesh, Namsai District Magistrate CR Khampa on Thursday promulgated Section 144-A(1) of Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) in Namsai Assembly Constituency.
With this, Assembly of more than 4 individuals at a particular place from 8 pm to 5 am will be prohibited, until further order.
DM Khampa, in his order, stated that it has come to his notice that a sensitive law and order situation is prevailing in Namsai Assembly Constituency owing to election campaign.
