Under Modi’s leadership, North East witnessed ‘complete transformation’, says Arunachal CM

Itanagar, Apr 5 (UNI) Senior BJP leader and Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Friday said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the North East - earlier known for underdevelopment, neglect, inaccessibility, and extremism - has witnessed a “complete transformation” since the Modi-led BJP government came to power in 2014.
Khandu said this while addressing an election campaign rally at Raga in Kamle district. Taking to micro-blogging site X, Khandu wrote in Hindi: “Pragati ka matlab Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)!
“The joy and support of the people of Kamle for BJP were amazing, and why not? Under the leadership of Hon PM Narendra Modi Ji, the North East has witnessed complete transformation, which was earlier known for underdevelopment, neglect, inaccessibility and extremism,” he said.
