Meghalaya govt hikes budget allocation for Education from 27 crores to 350 crores

Shillong, Mar 4 (UNI) Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Monday said the government has increased the budget allocation for Education from Rs 27 crores to 350 crores for 2024-25.
inaugurating the Academic Block and the Girls’ & Boys’ Hostel of Captain Williamson Sangma Government College at Baghmara in South Garo Hills district ,the Chief Minister said education has always been the priority of his government.
“The goals and visions set by the Education department five years ago are being successfully taken forward even in the present times. I am sure that the education sector will see huge transformations in the coming days”, he said.
