KIIT DU students to serve as National UN volunteers

Bhubaneswar, Apr 8 (UNI) KIIT Deemed University signed an MoU with the United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme on Monday to provide a platform for its students to engage directly with the United Nations and serve as National UN Volunteers across various UN agencies.
This historic collaboration paves the way for KIIT students and marks a significant milestone, being the first of its kind for a private university in South Asia.
The MoU was exchanged between Sushil Chaudhury, Country Coordinator of UN Volunteers, India, and Prof.Saranjit Singh, Vice Chancellor of KIIT DU, in the presence of Achyut Samant, Founder of KIIT and KISS, and Shombi Sharp, UN Resident Coordinator in India, along with Radhika Kaul Batra, Chief of Staff at the UN Resident Coordinator’s Office (RCO).
