Convention centre should be redesigned to make secretariat: Chief Minister

Ranchi, Sep 11 (UNI) Chief Minister Hemant Soren has directed that the convention centre being constructed under the Smart City project should be redesigned to built the secretariat.
Reviewing the progress today in construction of the smart city project he said that the convention centre should be used in the best interest of the state and the convention centre which would be spread over an area of 7 acres would be best suited to make the Secretariat. He also directed to immediately commence the task of building the Civic Tower in the Smart City Project and said that alongwith the construction work the process of auction should also commence.
Secretary of the Urban Development Department Vinay Kumar Choubey gave a detailed presentation over the progress in construction of the smart city project. He said that beautification of Karam Toli pond and Atal Vendor market has been completed.
