Agartala, Nov 2 (UNI) A 25 years old Chandrajoy Tripura has been arrested with critical injuries on Tuesday evening from Ratannagar area of Gandacherra under Dhalai district on the charge of killing an eight years boy of his neighbour following a dispute between the victim and the son of the accused while playing.
Police said Chandrajoy was rescued from the clutches of the angry mob who had beaten him badly, tying him to a tree.
Allegedly, victim Kartik Tripura (8), son of Jatanjoy Tripura was playing with the son of the accused in the field in the afternoon. Both of them got engaged in a quarrel over some childish dispute in the games.
