Odisha Vigilance officials nab two ASI of police for accepting bribes

Bhubaneswar, Mar 2 (UNI) The sleuths of Odisha vigilance on Saturday apprehended two Assistant Sub Inspector(ASI) of Police for accepting bribes from complainants.
In the first case ASI of Police, Dabugaon Police station in Nabarangpur district Simanchal Moharana was apprehended while demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 5000 from a complainant for showing leniency and to help in a case registered earlier against him and his family members.
On seeing the Vigilance Officials, the ASI threw the entire bribe money in Police Station Malkhana which has been recovered and seized by the vigilance officials.
