Old woman killed for alleged practice of witchcraft in Deoghar, husband also serious

Deoghar, Oct 8 (UNI) An old woman was killed in Bichkodwa village under Jasidih Police Station area of this district as she was suspected of practising witchcraft.
The husband of the deceased woman also sustained serious wound injuries and has been admitted at the Sadar Hospital. Upon receiving information, a police team reached in the village and has taken a youth into custody.
Police on Thursday said that the deceased has been identified as Badki Marandi (60) while her husband is Shukla Marandi (65). Locals claimed that people had an old dispute with the family and had also boycotted them socially.
