Criminals looted Rs 40 lakh from cash van and shot injured the guard of LIC

Madhubani, Sep 24 ( UNI)Some armed criminals looted Rs Rs 40 lakh from the cash van and shot injured the guard of LIC near Bata chowck in Madhubani district.
According to police the criminals intercepted the cash van when it reached Axis Bank at Bata chowck to deposit the money and looted the cash at gun point. The criminals fired at the guard of the LIC when he resisted to thwart their attempt of loot.
The injured guard succumbed while undergoing treatment at DMCH.
