Police arrest 13 people for cheating investors in name of setting up mobile towers

Kolkata, Oct 6 (UNI) As many as 13 people, accused of cheating unsuspected common people with assurance of jobs and cash incestives for setting up mobile towers on their location or atop their buildings, have been arrested and police seized dozen of cell phones and electronic gadgets from their possesion.
All the 13 accused have been arrested from their office, which was set up at posh Salt Lake area of Sector V, an hi-tech location in eastern part of the city.
Police raided their office following several complaints received from the duped investors and arrested them and sezied the eletronic goods, including dozen of cell phones. The seized articles include 70 mobile phones, 30 land phones, three laptops, 2 computers, 50 sealed packed sim cards and cash of Rs 1.5 lakh.
