IRBn constable, son arrested for killing youth in Arunachal

Itanagar, April 25 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Police has arrested an India Reserve Battalion (IRBn) constable and his son, a CCL (child in conflict with law), on the charges of murdering a youth of the 1st AAPBn Colony in Chimpu near here, Itanagar SP Rohit Rajbir Singh said on Thursday.
The alleged accused Mohan Kumar Roy (38), a native Karihobhorhan village in Bihar’s Vaishali district and currently residing at 1st AAPBn Colony, Chimpu is serving as constable, 1st IRBn, Namsangmukh, presently attached to the Police Headquarters here.
As per the written FIR lodged with Chimpu Police Station by the victim’s father Ashok Kumar, on April 23 at around 7.30 pm his son Manish Kumar was attacked by Mohan Rai and his son, a CCL, with a sharp-edged weapon at the Government Middle School cum Children’s Park at Battalion Headquarters Complex, Chimpu.
