07 May 2024 | 10:12 PMPatna, May 7 (UNI) Despite all efforts of the Election Commission and other stalwarts to attract the voters to the booths to exercise their franchise, polling in the third phase of the elections in five seats namely Jhanjharpur, Supaul , Araria, Madhepura and Khagaria in Bihar had marginal increase of 1.42 percent compared to the second phase of the polling but was still 1.22 percent less than the last Lok Sabha elections held in 2019 in the same five constituencies.
