Imphal, Mar 4 (UNI) Manipur Governor Anusuiya Uikey on Monday hailed a millet diet as a nutritious food option for children that can enhance their brain development and overall growth besides solving the problem of malnutrition.
Speaking during the inauguration of a regional convention on the available millets in the North Eastern Region and its nutritional benefits, the Governor said given the increasing importance of millets, there is a need to discuss its present role.
