GDP data for July-Sep quarter better than expectation with both manufacturing and agriculture supporting growth revival in the economy: Dwivedi

Kolkata, Nov 27 (UNI) Mayur Dwivedi, Head- Strategy, M&A, Investors Relations, Religare Enterprises Ltd, on Friday said the GDP data for July-September quarter is better than expected with both manufacturing and agriculture supporting growth revival in the economy.
" The numbers are surely not as gloomy as was being anticipated. The growth in electricity output for the quarter also shows that the economy's engine is revving up after emerging from COVID led lockdown in Q1, " Dwivedi added.
" The growth in manufacturing of 0.6pc, though marginal, shows pent up demand in the economy. It's a sharp rebound from -39pc in Q1, " Dwivedi said.
