BJP launches padayatra from Puri to Naveen Niwas demanding scrapping of Bagla Dharmasala land sale deeds

Puri,Oct.14 (UNI)-Hundreds of BJP workers led by Puri BJP MLA Jayant Kumar Sarangi, Brahmagiri MLA Lalitendu Bidyadhar Mohapatra and veteran BJP leader Krushna Chandra Jagdev today marched on a padayatra from the Lions gate of Sri Jaganath temple to Naveen Niwas to demand scrapping of the sale deeds and restoration of land to the Dharmasala.
Mr Sarangi said selling of Dharmsala land is against the law.. He said all the six sale deeds should be scrapped and land should be restored to Dharmasala, Mr Sarangi demanded.
In addition to Bagala Dharmasala issue BJP is also demanding expansion of the district headquarters hospital on the adjoining land vacated by the district jail.
