Tripura govt to fill up 1386 posts in three months

Agartala, June 29 (UNI) The council of minister in a meeting on Tuesday decided to fill up altogether 1386 posts of different grade in various departments including 1000 Constables in police, 100 Physical Instructors, 60 Agricultural Officers and 25 Supervisors of ICDS in next three months, said Information minister Sushanta Chowdhury.
He indicated that this government has only six months time to complete the tenure but, pending promises are huge. The government had the promise to fill up all the vacant posts in the departments along with regularization of the service of all employees working in various central governments’ mission projects and creating 50,000 annual job opportunities.
As per the policy of the state government, at least 50 percent posts will be filled up with females.
