Cent Percent target of PMAY will be achieved in Bihar during current fiscal despite Corona pandemic : Minister

Patna, Jul 29 (UNI) Bihar Rural Development Minister Shravan Kumar today said the target of construction of 7,82,102 Houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna (PMAY) would be achieved during the current financial year despite challenges of Corona pandemic and floods in the state.
Mr Kumar, during a review meeting of implementation of PMAY in Bihar, said that 3,000 to 4,000 houses were being constructed per day in the state under PMAY despite challenges of Corona pandemic, floods and financial crunch. Even in prevailing hostile scenario, the target of construction of 7, 82,102 houses under PMAY would be achieved in Bihar, he claimed.
The Minister said that registration, Geo tagging and approval for construction of 7,82,102 houses under PMAY were being done at rapid pace. The target given by the Centre to Bihar under PMAY had already been allotted among various districts of the state, he added.
