Arunachal CM launches AI-based telehealth facility at Ziro hospital

Itanagar, Mar 11 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Monday launched the maiden the artificial intelligence (AI)-based telehealth facility on a pilot basis at Gyati Takka General Hospital, Ziro in Lower Subansiri district in presence of local legislator cum Minister Tage Taki and others, official sources said.
“With the inauguration of the AI-based MStar telehealth facility, we are going to break the barrier to healthcare access to remote and rural regions of the state,” Khandu said after launching the facility.
The Chief Minister further said this initiative shows our dedication to providing quality healthcare services to all citizens regardless of geographical constraints. Each rural health centre will now have a virtual OPD, not only with regular doctors but also with a specialist doctor for delivery of quality healthcare services, he said.
