Arunachal: CM urges early restoration of connectivity along Roing-Anini highway

Itanagar, April 25 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Thursday said that instructions have been given to the concerned authorities to restore the road connectivity along the Roing-Anini highway at the earliest.
Media reports suggest that a portion of the highway between Hunli and Anini was washed away on Wednesday following the heavy, incessant pre-monsoon rain, completely snapping the road communication along the said stretch of the highway.
Taking to the micro-blogging site X, Khandu wrote: “Disturbed to learn the inconvenience being caused to commuters due to the extensive damage to the highway between Hunli and Anini. Instructions have been issued to restore connectivity as soon as this road connects Dibang Valley to the rest of the country.”
