Pakur, Jan 5 (UNI) Five people lost their lives while 15 others sustained serious injuries following a collision between a bus and LPG cylinder laden truck which took place on Wednesday morning under Amrapada Police Station area of this district.
Amrapada Police Inspector Manoj Kumar said that the accident took place between the two vehicles near Salpatra village in which five people have died so far.
The people with injuries have been admitted at the community health care centre in Amrapada where the condition of few was stated to be critical.
Police said that the bus was on its way to Dumka from Barharwa when it ended up colliding with the truck coming from the opposite end at Salpatra village. It is being suspected that the accident took place due to dense fog in the area.
