Malda, Mar 24 (UNI) Three people were killed when the car, in which they were traveling, was hit by a gas-laden tanker at English Bazar
in West Bengal's Malda district, police said on Sunday.
Police said while two of the deceased were from Mothabari one was a resident of English Bazar.
The mishap happened last night on the highway after the tanker driver lost control of the vehicle and hit the car, Police said.
The tanker driver and his helper fled from the spot after the accident.
