Jaipur, April 10 (UNI) The Rajasthan Royals suffered their first defeat in the IPL 2024 season against the Gujarat Titans, losing by 4 wickets at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium here on Wednesday. This ended their dream unbeaten run in the tournament.
Despite a strong start from openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler, who couldn't capitalise on the powerplay, Rajasthan managed to post a formidable total of 196/3 in 20 overs.
Skipper Sanju Samson and Riyan Parag played crucial innings, with Parag scoring an impressive 76 runs and Samson contributing an unbeaten 68 runs.
