Gujarat CM lists industrial infra as big plus to lure investors, urges corporates to join Vibrant Gujarat summit

New Delhi, Nov 25 (UNI) Noting that Gujarat scores high on numerous economic parameters and remains most fertile ground for wealth creation, state Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Thursday invited industry captains to participate in the 10th edition of Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2022.

He urged corporates to invest in the coastal state and ramp of existing capacities.

"With talent, technology and transparency, Gujarat is rapidly transforming its capabilities, offering globally competitive opportunities for collaboration. There is a new appetite to deepen engagement across sectors; fresh and traditional alike," Patel said at the curtain raiser of the mega event.

The Vibrant Gujarat Summit would be inaugurated on 10th January, 2022 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It is themed as Aatmanirbhar Gujarat to Aatmanirbhar Bharat.”

Sharing the achievements of Gujarat in various sectors of socio-economic development, Patel asserted that Gujarat is the most preferred investment destination to do business by Indian and global conglomerates.

He stated that Gujarat had the highest FDI equity inflow worth US$ 21.9 billion during the FY 2021 and topped the chart in the Logistics Ease Across Different States (LEADS) report for three years.

With the upcoming world’s largest hybrid solar and wind renewable energy park in Kutch, Patel said Gujarat will consolidate its position as India’s renewable capital with addition of 30 GW by 2023.

“Gujarat’s reputation as a business-friendly state across national and international geographies is driven by our robust industrial infrastructure. Its proactive policymaking, including ease of doing business, has made it the most preferred business destination of India and the world alike," Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel.

Speaking on the occasion here today, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said that PM Modi conceptualised Vibrant Gujarat summit and made his dream a reality.

"What we are witnessing today is the fruit of 20 years of his dedication. In Gujarat, you will find every infrastructure needed for business but its biggest strength is its culture of hospitality," he said.
