MMA-Amalgamations Business Leadership award presented to TATA Sons Chairman

Chennai, Feb 29 (UNI) The MMA-Amalgamations Business Leadership Award 2023 was conferred on N.Chandrasekaran, Chairman of Tata Sons Ltd, here on Wednesday evening.
A.Krishnamoorthy, Chairman of the Amalgamations Group, presented the prestigious award to N.Chandrasekaran in the presence of Mallika Srinivasan, Chairman and Managing Director TAFE, and other eminent dignitaries including R.Seshasayee, Chairman, Asian Paints; S.Gurumurthy, Corporate Advisor and Commentator on Economics, Finance and Politics, and Arvind Datar, Senior
Advocate, Madras High Court; who offered felicitations.
MMA President K.Mahalingam and Executive Director Gp. Capt. R. Vijayakumar (Retd), welcomed the gathering and recognized N.Chandrasekar on behalf of the MMA.
The award was conferred upon Mr Chandrasekaran for his exceptional leadership, philanthropy and sterling contribution to industry and society.
His visionary leadership has significantly contributed to the conglomerate's expansion and progress, marked by strategic advancement, innovation, and steadfast commitment to ethical business conduct. His profound dedication to both the organization and its employees has been truly commendable.
The award ceremony was followed by Mr Chandrasekaran’s inspiring and thought-provoking 20th Anantharamakrishnan Memorial Lecture on ”India’s Leadership in a Pivotal Decade”, a press release here today said.
Mr Chandrasekaran joins 19 other luminaries of Indian industry like J.R.D. Tata, Dr.Verghese Kurien, Keshub Mahindra, Aditya V. Birla, K.M.Mammen Mappillai, Brijmohan Lall Munjal, Sunil Bharti Mittal, Ratan Tata and Azim Premji, the recipients of this prestigious award.
The MMA-Amalgamations Business Leadership Award has been honouring distinguished achievers in business and industry since 1969.
The eminent panelists for the 2023 edition of the Business Leadership Award include the Chairman of the selection panel, Azim Premji, Chairman of Wipro Limited; and members include R.Seshasayee, Chairman of Asian Paints Ltd; Zia J. Mody, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of AZB and Partners; M.M.Murugappan, Chairman of Carborundum Universal Limited; and Harsh C.Mariwala, Chairman of Marico Ltd.
