Young minds showcase future of technology

Kolkata, Mar 9 (UNI) In a bid to encourage young students, the Institute of Engineering & Management Kolkata on Saturday organised the 11th edition of Innovacion 2024, highlighting the pivotal role of innovation in managing the challenges of the modern world.
Over 102 models were exhibited, and some of them were made with applications in AI and robotics. The exposition showcased a few stalls curated by specially-abled children as students from different colleges, universities, and schools showcased their innovative brilliance and participated in hands-on workshops, developing an enriching learning environment.
Innovacion 2024 showcased a plethora of activities in the science model exhibition and competition. The innovative projects included the smart evaluator, which can examine answer scripts with the help of AI. The tech fest featured more innovation, such as rain-resilient stadiums; an aerial gas station, which is a refueling system using a drone; Quadpulse, a multitasking robotic dog; and many more.
Director, IEM Kolkata Dr.Satyajit Chakrabarti said that students, educators, industry professionals, and enthusiasts explored new horizons, challenged the status quo, and shaped the future of technology and management through this tech fest.
