Bengaluru, Mar 16 (UN) Toyota Tsusho and Secom Medical System, in a joint venture, have announced their intention to set up a second multi-specialty healthcare facility under the Sakra World Hospital operations in India.
The venture entails an investment of Rs 1,000 crore.
The existing Sakra World Hospital facility in Bengaluru will be supplemented by a new 500-bed unit in Banaswadi, located in Bengaluru North. The construction of this facility is anticipated to be completed by the conclusion of 2026.
Sakra World Hospital is also contemplating the establishment of a third unit, envisaged to accommodate 300 beds, as part of its broader strategy to add 1,000 beds in the coming years.
The second facility, slated to be constructed with an estimated cost of Rs 1,000 crore, will span a built-up area of 6 lakh sq ft.
This expansion reflects the commitment of Sakra World Hospital towards meeting the healthcare requirements of both local and international communities.
