AdPlus inaugurates new manufacturing plant in Haldia

Kolkata, Mar 11 (UNI) Adplus Chemicals & Polymers Private Limited, a Subsidiary of Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, inaugurated a new state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Haldia on Monday.
The plant's primary focus will be on the production of Low Molecular Weight Polyethylene—PE WAX, marking a significant milestone in the domain of Specialty Chemicals and advanced Polymers.
With this major investment, The Chatterjee Group (TCG) and Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd. (HPL) have forayed into the domain of Specialty Chemicals & Advanced Polymers.
The cutting-edge products, under the brand “Polyfast”, are set to revolutionise various industries such as plastics and rubber, bitumen roofing membranes, hot melt adhesives, paints, ink, toners, paper coatings, high altitude road surfacing, and even cosmetic and skin care products.
The project commenced in November 2022. The final product will cater to domestic and export markets.
With an initial investment exceeding Rs. 50 crores in the PE Wax refining and processing units of HPL and AdPlus combined, the project has already created job opportunities for over 30 local engineers and workers.
Furthermore, AdPlus has outlined plans for various projects involving the manufacturing of Specialty Chemicals & Advanced Polymers. UNI SJC BD SSP
