Aqua security raises funds through Aquathon to provide Covid-relief support in India

Hyderabad, Oct 12 (UNI) Aqua Security, an Israel-based leading pure-play cloud-native security provider with Indian operations at Hyderabad, has recently concluded its first-ever Aquathon, a global employee well-being initiative.
Proceeds of the initiative will go directly to COVID relief support for India, focused on helping the families whose breadwinners have succumbed to coronavirus, the IT company said in a release here on Tuesday.
Aquathon aims to give back to the community while building a strong, healthy, and united workforce. Aqua employees across the world raised funds for an Indian non-profit organization by registering their step-count for seven days and to raise funds for COVID relief in India.
The initiative drove phenomenal participation from the Aqua Security team across 12 countries and over 150 employees participated in the initiative and clocked over 11 million steps.
Aqua Security matched the funds raised by employees and a total of INR 6 Lacs, to be donated to Nirmaan Organization (a non-profit entity) and its COVID relief efforts in India.
Nirmaan supports the underprivileged in education, skill development, entrepreneurship, and social leadership.
