Bajaj Auto September 2020 total sale up by 10 per cent to 4,41,306 units

Mumbai, Oct 1 (UNI) Auto major, Bajaj Auto reported on Thursday a rise of 10 per cent in its total sales for the month of September 2020 at 4,41,306 units as against 4,02,035 units sold in September 2019.
The company has sold 4,04'851 units of motorcycles during September 2020, as compared to 3,36,730 in September 2019, an increase of 20 per cent.
Exports of motorcycles grew by 16 per cent to 1,85,351units in September 2020, as against 1,59,382 in September 2019. The exports sales was the highest ever till date.
Whereas, the domestic sales of motorcycles increased 24 per cent to 2,19,500 units in September 2020 as compared to 1,77,348 units in September 2019.
Commercial Vehicles sales dropped 44 per cent to 36,455 units in September 2020, as compared to 65,305 in September 2019.
Exports of Commercial Vehicles was at 27,224 units in September 2020, as against 27,152 in September 2019.
Domestic sales of Commercial Vehicles declined 76 per cent in September 2020 to 9231 units as compared to 38,153 units in September 2019.
