OneVerse acquires Calling Station, BatBall11

Bengaluru, Mar 13 (UNI) In a significant move poised to revolutionize the gaming sphere in India, OneVerse, a pioneering Metaverse and gaming technology entity, has clinched the game-changing acquisitions of Calling Station, and BatBall11.
The landmark deal not only represents a significant milestone in the trajectory of these firms but also heralds a transformative era in the Indian gaming landscape. It unleashes a cascade of synergistic opportunities set to redefine the very essence of gaming as we know i, Calling Station CEO Arvind Jain said.
As part of OneVerse's ongoing M&A strategy to solidify its position in the gaming market and advance its goal of becoming India's leading game entity, recent macroeconomic challenges have presented favorable conditions for M&A efforts, he said.
The company is looking to close a few more acquisitions in the next three months, as a part of a larger strategy announced earlier, Jain said. "Through our collaboration with these firms, we aspire to redefine the realm of innovation, offering unmatched gaming encounters to our user base in India and across the globe," he said.
This strategic acquisition is a testament to the company's shared vision to redefine the gaming industry, BatBall11 Managing Director Varun Parikh said. "By teaming up with OneVerse Gaming, we're poised to revolutionize gaming experiences, setting new benchmarks for excellence both in India and on a global scale," he said.
RMB Capital India CEO-Head Dhyanesh Sundarmurthy, who acted as OneVerse's advisor on the transaction, said, "The acquisition presents an opportunity for seamless integration of networks and players on the platform, promising immersive transactional experiences within the online gaming realm.. The terms of the buyout ensure that the management teams of all three firms will remain in place and continue driving growth initiatives and fostering continued value creation within the gaming landscape."
