New express train between Ajmer Jn-Rameswaram

Hyderabad, Sep 26 (UNI) Ministry of Railways approved introduction of new weekly Humsafar Express between Ajmer Jn and Rameswaram stations.

The Regular services will commence from Rameswaram on October 2 and Ajmer on October 6, a South Central Railway (SCR) statement here said on Wednesday.

Inaugural run, Train No 09603 Ajmer Jn – Rameswaram inaugural special Humsafar Express (Weekly) will depart Ajmer Jn at 1130 hrs on September 27 (Thursday), arr/dep Vijayawada at 2135/2145 hrs on the next day and arrive Rameswaram at 2100 hrs on Saturday.

Regular services, train No 19604 Rameswaram - Ajmer Jn Humsafar Express (Weekly) will depart Rameswaram at 2215 hrs on October 2 (Tuesday), arr/dep Vijayawada at 1610/1615 hrs on the next day and arrive Ajmer Jn at 2325 hrs on Thursday.

In the opposite direction, Train No 19603 Ajmer Jn – Rameswaram Humsafar Express (Weekly) will depart Ajmer Jn at 2140 hrs on October 6 (Saturday), arr/dep Vijayawada at 0650/0700 hrs on the second day and arrive Rameswaram at 0315 hrs on Tuesday.

Enroute, these trains (both Inaugural and regular services) will also stop at Bhilwara, Chittaurgarh, Nimach, Mandsor, Ratlam, Fatehabad Chanrawatiganj, Lakshmibai Nagar, Dewas, Maksi, Bhopal, Itarsi, Betul, Nagpur, Sewagram, Chandrapur, Ballarahshah, Warangal, Nellore,
Gudur, Chennai Egmore, Chengalpattu Jn, Vellupuram, Arialur, Tiruchchirapalli Jn and Manamadurai Jn stations in both the directions.
